Laser Teeth Whitening

Before
After

Most of us start out with sparkling white teeth, thanks to our enamel.  Over time the effects of chewing causes millions of micro-cracks to form in our enamel which eventially fill up with stains and debris.

The active ingredient in most Laser Teeth Whitening Systems is Carbamide Peroxide.  Research shows that as Carbamide Peroxide is broken down, oxygen enters the enamel and dentin of the tooth bleaching the stains while the structure of the tooth remains unchanged, leaving a whiter, brighter smile.

The long and short of it is that teeth whitening works!  Virtually everyone who opts for this treatment will see moderate to substantial improvement in the brightness of their smile.

Until recently, teeth whitening was limited to the dentist office or the local pharmacy, but no longer!  Our Laser Teeth Whitening System is a safe, affordable and proven method of whitening teeth!

The Formulation

All solutions are not the same.  We have found that our 30% Carbamide Peroxide solution is the most effective whitening product in the market today that does not require a professional license to administer.

The Session

A solution is applied to teeth and the laser is safely directed onto your teeth. The longer the solution is in contact with the teeth and soft tissue of the mouth, the higher the potential side effects. We have found that one 20 minute session eliminates most teeth sensitivity issues while regularly whitening smiles 3-10 shades.   Individual results will vary. All sessions are conducted in a private treatment room by our skilled staff.

Is it safe?

Absolutely!  Peroxide has been safely used in both the dental industry and at-home products for many, many years. Our solution is mild enough to minimize side effects but strong enough to effectively whiten smiles.  Our light operates well outside of the UV-A range (460 to 500 nanometers) so there is no risk from dangerous UV waves.

What about side effects?

Side effects can include minor tingling, stinging or blanching of the gum and temporary tooth sensitivity all of which usually go away soon after the peroxide gel is removed from the mouth. Compared to other whitening systems using Ultra Violet (UV) light the side effects, should any occur, are much less severe. UV lights generate heat which can burn your gums and lips feeling like a sun burn. UV lightening systems have also been known to cause severe teeth sensitivity during and after the treatment because sensitivity is due to changes in temperature in the enamel.
